Military Competency Commercial
Airplane – Helicopter
Pensacola Aviation Centers’ main objective is to prepare and help you achieve your civilian FAA Commercial Certificate. Our facility provides you with a 2 hour seminar to prepare you for the FAA written exam. We have on site, an Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) auditor to walk you through the required IACRA application. This auditor will reduce the hassle factor in preparing you for your meeting with the FAA Mil-Comp Examiner. A minimum of 2 days is required for the FAA to verify the results of your test before the examiner can verify all documentation and issue a temporary certificate. This mandatory waiting period forces a second visit to PAC no less than 2 days following the date you took your test.
Typically; a pilot who completed his/her training program at NAS Whiting Field is eligible for Airplane Single Engine Land which is based on the T-34 or T-6 and Rotorcraft-Helicopter; Instrument Helicopter which is based on the TH-57.
What to expect on the day of the Seminar.
We will begin registration at 7:00 am the day of the seminar. The seminar will begin shortly after, approximately 7:15 am and will continue through 10:00 am. Upon completion of the seminar you will proceed to our on site testing center to take the test. While waiting to take the test the auditor guides you through the IACRA registration process. That will begin the process of applying for your Commercial Certificate.
